Tracey Jerome, Board Member

Tracey Jerome is the Managing Director for Museums and Cultural Affairs (MCAD), Libraries Services and Tourism for the City of El Paso. Under Jerome’s leadership, the El Paso Museum of Art won the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) medal of excellence in 2018, and garnered national attention for the City of El Paso’s Public Art program and family-friendly events such as Chalk the Block and the Downtown Art and Farmers Market.
Jerome joined the City of El Paso in 2015 as the Museums and Cultural Affairs Director. She has also served the city in other roles including Interim Director, El Paso Museum of Art and Interim Director, El Paso Museum of History. Prior to her arrival in El Paso, Jerome lived and worked globally in England, Belgium, South Korea, Singapore and Austria.
Jerome holds a Master’s in Art History from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London; a Master’s in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University; and a Bachelor’s in Government from the College of William & Mary.
